What a pleasant surprise I awoke to this morning. A stark white light was making its way through the window and to be that bright it could only mean… yes! We got a snowfall. Not only that but measurable accumulation. After my initial shock I had to think a bit about the rest of my day. Coffee was clearly in order. While roads were not bad, from my house to Christmas Tourney I would have used several backroads, so kind of glad I had mostly talked myself out of that. Wonder when it snowed? Since I was feeling crappy I skipped hockey last eve so really glad I was not in it. And what of the forecast? We had mentioned snow flurries a few times, earlier in the week, but even those had disappeared on the last one I saw Friday morning – because I was noting with irony friends in Louisiana were getting some white stuff and friends in Maryland had a forecast for some.
I got dressed and headed out for coffee. Decided to grab the camera and do a photo blog this morning of it. I did not get many shots, but may add a few more later when I head out to the farm to feed horses and such here in a bit, depending if it is still here then or not. Been a LONG time since I had done one of this galleries and I had to re-learn how to do it this morning. And of course it has been a week since doing any blogs after hitting thirty days in a row. Anyway, enough of that, enjoy the few pictures thus far:
