Wow, you brought back memories for me, too. I remember my sister and I sitting at the kitchen table going through that catalog and circling what we wanted. And in our younger years that was a LONG list of stuff. Sears doesn't even make that same type of catalog anymore, do they? I know for years they didn't and I was very disappointed in that fact. It's definitely a shame if it is still gone for good as generations of childern won't have that same gleeful joy that we had when going through it. Flipping through web pages just doesn't have the same level of excitement I find.

I'm a brunette who's currently auburn. Does that count? ;-)

Good wish list. My equestrian wish would be for an English shire horse. I saw one at the Horse Park in October and loved it. The rider was attractive too — had hair about the same color as the horse.

I like the blog. We share some interests: medieval history, green living, faith, etc.

What you wrote brought back huge memories. Every year my brother and I would circle all the things we wanted for Christmas in the big catalogs our parents had. On occasion I still do it with catalogs like Design Toscano, Museum Replicas Limited, etc... My wish list would be a little like yours except I would be wishing for a knight. I would want longer hair too since I colored my hair red for years which damaged it, so I have been letting it grow out again. Horses I don't need to wish for since I have 5, but for someone to help break them and train the young ones for skill at arms. Armor is a big YES! I have none:-( I have been even eyeing horse armor for my big warmblood. Amarillo I have been at broke down with my Dakota pickup many years ago, so don't wish to go back. I have had plenty of 8 second rides being launched off of horses. I wouldn't mind another kid. At times I feel my daughter should have a sibling. Music is something I would never say no to and instead of keg of bouborn I want some Mead. It is impossible to find it here unless I order it from a winery. My biggest wish is a winning lotto ticket or a great job to get out of this desert I am stuck in.
