A bit ago I was giving the Firefox browser down the road and even as I did so I was lamenting the lack of some of those cool extension in the other browser platforms, especially Google’s Chrome. There seems to have come some stability and not a new update every week for the last little bit. With that I have stopped having the hangs and crashes I was having for a while there with Firefox. During my multiple fights with Firefox there was more then one complete uninstall, download, and reinstall completely new. As I started putting my plugins back in place, I have pleasantly found a couple that I am not sure how I lived without.

I know I am on a technology kick here the last few post and I have a couple of more that I may mention here in the near future as well. A few months ago, I was contemplating buying a second Zune (or some other kind of MP3 playing device) because at 4GB capacity my current one only holds about one eighth of my total music collection and of course. Over the last few weeks I have really started to notice just how fragile the technology that we have come depend on really is. Of course I am on of the people with an inside view and completely understand that it is and am not caught by surprise, but I do wonder about the rest of the world who just take for granted that the technology is always going to be there. Of course the technology I am really talking about here is the internet and the network that supports it. But by that I also mean all the smart devices out there from your simple MP3 player to the more complex smart phones that do everything but the dishes.

This past week, after seeing one of my favorites, the band BLCP I took a friend to see a movie. The movie was kind of odd, in that it was a documentary. But I had been wanting to see the movie Food for some time and it was playing downtown at the Kentucky, just a few blocks over from where BLCP was playing at Thursday Night Live.
