Jeans was not something I had really thought about but the razors for sure. The truck, I can be consoled if I do it with knowing it is smaller then the truck I have historically had and hence less gas and emissions just a few years ago. Jane: You little Vue would fall over panting the first time I hitched a trailer to it, much less two horses. If just going to events was the thing, I could be somewhat happy in the car. I really want a little four cylinder truck and a big full ton crew cab truck for hauling, but with disaster this spring/summer of the truck I bought that is no longer in the cards. My Saturn VUE gets 25 mpg (highway) and now comes in a hybrid...and I can get everything I need into it for two weeks at Pennsic - she has a surprising amount of room....heck, I've slept in the back on a queen size air matress comfortably. I try to use as few as possible and even have an electric - I prefer on my hubby the scruffy look anyway... On the jeans... I guess I didn't realize they weren't eco friendly... but then again - 80% of my time is in scrubs... On the truck - I have been in both places... Wanted a truck - but didn't need it - I was 18 and bought a little Ranger... Gas mileage ok - but who cared when gas was $1.50 per gallon? But I didn't NEED the truck and so relized that it didn't work... NOW - we just bought G an F150 w/ cap (which does btw reduce gas guzzeling) and since we have a lifestyle that REQUIRES/NEEDS a truck from time to time - I can't beleive we managed to get along with out it!!
