I have not done one of these in a while, but as most of you all know I am prone to doing these on occasion. On occasion I just have to vent to the blog about something that is bugging me. Tonight Windstream has just crossed my threshold of tolerance. I went with them at the new house largely because they offer a slightly higher speed to the house through the DSL options they have available then what can be gotten through an equivelant cable type of connection. And I have to admit that the thought of higher speed and even sligthly lower prices had a lot of appeal to me.

This is going to be the year for anyone that does American Civil War reenacting to come do the Battle of Perryville (also called battle of Chaplin Hills) and experience it about as accurately as it possible. No, I don’t necessarily think that this year is going to be less farby that it has been in the past by those that turn out in garb for the event as participants (though over the last twenty years I do think that their have been some major improvements in that regard).
